About The Position

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Business Advisory Solutions Manager to join its Tax Department. The role combines tax and accounting review, client compliance support, research, budgeting, and staff leadership. The manager oversees day-to-day planning, preparation, review, and wrap-up of work while contributing to positive client relationships and supporting staff development. The position is based in Woburn, Massachusetts, and is full-time at the experienced level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA or CPA in progress.
7–8 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Caseware, and CCH Document.

Responsibilities

Review tax closings, closing of books, and tax preparation in detail.
Address client questions and inquiries concerning compliance matters, including income tax, franchise tax, sales and use tax, labor, and benefits.
Perform intermediate tax and accounting research to support accurate accounting and tax reporting.
Develop budgets and pricing, select staff, assign workloads, and prepare reports.
Provide staff members with direction and purpose while building trust with coworkers and client management.
Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, coordinating day-to-day planning, preparation, review, and wrap-up duties.
Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
Train, direct, and supervise staff and senior accountants.
Assess staff performance and provide appropriate feedback.
