About The Position

Contact Discovery Services is seeking a Solutions Developer to support the design, development, testing, and quality control of custom software, database applications, and low-code business platforms. The role works with internal teams and participates in client consultations to scope, build, and maintain applications for internal operations and client-facing projects. The developer will use C# (.NET), Python, relational databases, and low-code platforms, and will assist with script output and data extraction from large Oracle database environments.

This position offers an opportunity to solve complex business problems, integrate data across systems, and work in a collaborative consulting environment. The role also involves emerging automation and AI-enabled solutions, including MCP development and integrations when applicable. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications using C# (.NET) and Python.
• Experience with relational database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL development and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical problems and develop practical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Quickbase development and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience developing integrations between business applications.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks and related AI integration concepts.
• Experience with source control platforms such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Knowledge of other scripting languages such as PowerShell or JavaScript.
• Experience in eDiscovery, legal technology, compliance, or litigation support industries.
• Experience with Relativity, Relativity APIs, or legal data workflows.
• Experience supporting data migrations, large-scale data exports, or structured data review projects.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow automation or generative AI integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# (.NET) and Python.
• Develop custom utilities, automation tools, scripts, and integrations for business operations and client projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Use approved generative AI platforms to produce work products while applying quality assurance and control to ensure output meets development standards.
• Develop and validate data extraction and reporting solutions using SQL and other relational database systems.
• Review, test, and validate script output for accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
• Develop SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and other database objects as needed.
• Document data structures, workflows, and database relationships.
• Support quality assurance for large-scale database exports and reporting projects.
• Assist in developing and administering Quickbase applications and other low-code platforms.
• Build automations, workflows, dashboards, and integrations to streamline business processes.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Evaluate when low-code solutions are appropriate alternatives to traditional development.
• Support implementation and integration of modern automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Assist with Model Context Protocol (MCP) development and integrations when applicable.
• Evaluate technologies that may improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
• Participate in Advisory Services proof-of-concept and innovation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in project planning sessions and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with project managers, advisory consultants, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
