The Brand Manager role comes with real ownership: driving growth, managing brand health, and making decisions with limited global direction.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Communications or a related field
  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience in CPG, beverage, alcohol, or high-growth consumer brands (e.g., tech, apparel)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like PowerBI, Kantar, as well as P&L and general management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell ideas internally and externally
  • Self-starter who enjoys autonomy, thrives in ambiguity and can create clarity from complexity
  • Experience working cross-functionally, including internal teams, advertising agency, media team, research team, public affairs team, etc.
  • Comfortable with periodic domestic travel

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Canadian alcohol marketing regulations and compliance standards
  • Prior experience in a matrixed organization or navigating complex stakeholder environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead Brand Growth: Deliver national volume and share targets through strategic planning and flawless execution of brand initiatives, and sustained Brand health
  • Innovation Stewardship: Champion brand extensions that reinforce our leadership in the segment, and long term sustainability.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Management: Lead external partners (creative, PR, experiential) and internal teams (innovation, insights, trade, legal) to deliver integrated programs. Inspire and drive creativity through new tactics to effectively reach target market.
  • Budget & Compliance: Own the marketing budget and ensure all programs meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Promotions & Communications: Develop and track national and regional promotions, influencer programs, and experiential activations.
  • Lead National Marketing planning, strategies and execution, brand positioning, process management and all execution approval ensuring delivery of planned volume and profit.
