As Manager, Brand Applications, you will play a key role in bringing Abbott’s brand to life across global touchpoints through consistent, high-quality visual execution. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating brand principles into scalable systems that drive clarity, impact, and cohesion. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen and evolve Abbott’s brand presence worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in brand, design, or marketing roles (agency or in-house)
  • Hands-on experience applying brand identity systems across multiple touchpoints, including packaging and product experiences
  • Experience supporting or managing creative development across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity with a solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Apply Abbott’s visual identity system across packaging, product experiences, digital platforms, and marketing collateral
  • Partner with marketing, product, and brand teams to translate brand strategy into clear, effective executions
  • Ensure consistent and compliant use of brand elements across global applications
  • Support development and rollout of scalable design solutions across Abbott’s portfolio
  • Review and provide feedback on creative deliverables to ensure alignment with brand standards
  • Contribute creative thinking to elevate brand expression while maintaining system integrity
  • Develop, organize, and maintain brand assets, templates, and tools for global use
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality, application-ready assets
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on brand application and interpretation
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of brand guidelines and governance processes
  • Help teams navigate complex brand decisions with clarity and confidence
