Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in Food & Beverage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing automated packaging equipment and conveyor systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of LEAN, 6 Sigma

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the Cup Pack Out department to meet production schedules and customer demand.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with FSQ standards, labeling requirements, and SQF/HACCP regulations. Always maintain “audit-ready” status.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, material waste, and labor variance. Implement strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Foster a "Safety First" culture. Conduct regular safety audits, lead accident investigations, and ensure all team members are trained on LOTO and machine guarding protocols.
  • Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training for Pack Out Leads and Supervisors. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Lead 5S workplace organization initiatives. Utilize root-cause analysis (e.g., 5-Why) to resolve operational bottlenecks and downtime issues.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling and Warehouse teams to ensure all packaging materials (cups, lids, labels, Boxes) are staged and available for production runs.
  • Oversight and accountability for all shifts with 2-4 department Supervisors per shift. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Departmental responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
