About The Position

Avis Budget Group is seeking an AV Strategy & Operations Manager to support the build and deployment of autonomous vehicle operations. This role involves driving the day-to-day execution of a high-priority, cross-functional initiative, acting as a central connector across various teams. The position translates strategic goals into actionable plans, proactively solves problems, and ensures alignment to meet key milestones. Operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, the manager will leverage data and strong stakeholder collaboration to support new market launches and ongoing performance. Requirements

  • Experience in partnerships, operations, consulting, or similarly complex environments
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the connective tissue across cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Safety, Infrastructure, Operations, HR, external partners)
  • Coordinate and align internal and external teams to ensure milestones are met
  • Identify gaps, anticipate risks, and proactively solve problems before they escalate
  • Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable plans and track progress against them
  • Support development of operating models, processes, and playbooks for a new business line
  • Analyze operational and financial data to inform decisions and improve performance
  • Prepare materials and updates for senior leadership and external partners
  • Travel as needed to support market launches and ongoing operations
