About The Position

The Manager, Asset Protection, leads the development and validation of reporting analyses to ensure data integrity and supports strategic initiatives to mitigate risks and reduce loss. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize critical processes, analyzing trends to identify root causes, and presenting findings to senior leadership. The position oversees recovery efforts, manages key stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous improvement in compliance and operational performance. The manager also fosters associate development, promotes ethical standards, and supports a culture of accountability to achieve business objectives effectively. The Asset Protection Hub operates as a 24/7 monitoring center supporting the Global Security Operations Center, focusing on investigations and multi-channel monitoring within Walmart U.S. operations. The team manages critical investigative, monitoring, incident response, and operational functions to safeguard company assets. Collaborating across departments, the team ensures data integrity and risk mitigation while supporting business objectives. This role primarily covers overnight shifts at the Home Office campus in Northwest Arkansas, providing essential coverage to maintain continuous protection and operational excellence within the Asset Protection Hub and GSOC environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related field and 1 year’s experience in asset protection, operations, logistics, security, audit, project management, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in asset protection, operations, logistics, security, audit, project management, or related area.
Proven investigative experience in Asset Protection, Organized Retail Crime (ORC), and incident response operations.
Strong ability to conduct complex investigations, analyze intelligence, and identify fraud, theft, and loss trends.
Experience leveraging data analytics, research tools, and multiple data sources to support investigations and operational decision-making.
Ability to learn/understand GSOC operations, real-time monitoring, threat assessment, and emergency response processes.
Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with field operations, Home Office teams, and external stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with experience presenting investigative findings and operational insights to senior leadership.
Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethical standards, accountability, and the protection of people, assets, and company resources.
