About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding areas. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper procedures for handling materials, observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, and executing emergency response procedures. The role also emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, building strong relationships, and motivating others. Associates are expected to act with integrity by upholding ethical standards and supporting Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company. They should serve customers and members by delivering results and making sound decisions, and strive for excellence by demonstrating curiosity, resilience, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps following proper forklift spotting procedures following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials following Company steel standard guidelines and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity assisting with investigations maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation and appropriately executing emergency response procedures
• Works as a team builds strong and trusting relationships communicates with impact energy and positivity to motivate and influence
• Helps developing and mentoring others recognizes others contributions and accomplishments
