About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding areas. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper procedures for handling materials, observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, and executing emergency response procedures. The role also emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, building strong relationships, and motivating others. Associates are expected to act with integrity by upholding ethical standards, modeling company values, and contributing to a regenerative company culture. The position also requires serving customers and members by delivering results, making informed decisions, and striving for excellence through continuous learning, embracing new technologies, and supporting change.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps following proper forklift spotting procedures following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials following Company steel standard guidelines and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity assisting with investigations maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation and appropriately executing emergency response procedures
