About The Position
Hopscotch Primary Care is seeking a Manager to support its Analytics and Strategy & Operations teams. These teams are crucial for delivering data-driven insights and driving growth and operational excellence. The role involves leading operational, analytical, and strategic initiatives for high-leverage areas of the business, aiming to achieve quick results. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a first-principles thinking approach, and an ownership mentality, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of comfort with ambiguity. Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience in fast-paced environment such as management consulting, investment banking, or early-stage startup
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving results with minimal guidance
- Experience presenting to and collaborating with executive leadership
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts and skilled at data storytelling
- Experience working in digital health, care delivery, or health insurance
- Familiarity with value-based care and key healthcare industry dynamics/trends
- Thrive in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a start-up
- High degree of comfort with ambiguity

Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with data querying and scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Experience with causal inference and quasi-experimental methods
- Experience with machine learning techniques
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain operational analytics to drive insights and action for key stakeholders across the organization (e.g., leadership, PCPs, clinic teams)
- Conduct complex, detailed analyses to inform strategic, clinical, and operational decisions
- Build and maintain complex financial and operational models and reporting to support decision-making
- Identify and validate new opportunities to apply generative AI to improve access and quality of care
- Work with the leadership team to pinpoint the highest leverage opportunities and needs across the business
- Support metric governance program to ensure highest priority metrics are accurate and consistent across the organization
- Support build vs. buy vs. partner assessments and assist in high-impact capital allocation decisions
- Monitor regulatory changes and federal/state funding opportunities impacting care delivery, digital health, and value-based models
