The manager will develop and execute research and analytics plans, provide strategic guidance based on data findings, and support the implementation of analytics-driven business solutions. They will own analytics workstreams and projects end-to-end, managing scope, execution, and implementation risks. This includes developing data models, algorithms, and analytical approaches that drive measurable business value, and leading proof-of-concept and prototype development for production-ready analytics solutions. Collaboration with other Advanced Analytics experts to explore new techniques and methodologies is expected, as is applying advanced analytics to complex business problems to drive data-informed decision making. The role involves setting and executing data analysis strategies, guiding less experienced team members, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Categories, Customer Experience, and Merchandising. Engagement with external partners and vendors may also be required. The manager will coordinate and oversee work activities by setting clear goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities, while promoting adaptability and continuous learning. Ensuring compliance with company policies, values, and ethical standards, and creating a culture of belonging and accountability through hiring, training, mentoring, recognizing, and developing associates are also key responsibilities.
