About The Position

Responsible for managing the Providence Medical Group (PMG) Oregon clinical data entry in support of the Quality Strategic Plan and maintaining timeliness standards for document management (scanning/indexing). This includes the leadership for the team of clinical data abstractors, quality reviewers who will be doing manual data, quality assurance work and clinical data entry specialists who will scan/index incoming records. Responsible for developing and managing clinical data entry and document management strategies proven to be effective in achieving goals to meet tight timelines. Plans, organizes, manages, leads and evaluates the resources, systems and services for PMG to support data entry and indexing goals. Facilitates leadership, prioritization, and management in the following areas: budget, resources, scope, timelines, ROI, communication and decision support. Responsible for assisting the Providence Medical Group's (PMG) quality improvement and operational efficiency department in support of clinical, operational and service excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Informatics or related fields or an associate degree and 2 years clinical/leadership experience, or 4 years clinical/leadership experience.
  • 3 years Clinical experience.
  • 2 years progressively increasing responsibility in a leadership role.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications relating to training, organizational development, project management or IT software.
  • 2 years demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records.
  • Experience with workflow enhancement/process improvement projects.
  • Experience in document indexing and data migration procedures.
