Requirements

  • 5+ years advertising related experience
  • Experience managing a team of individuals and mentoring and developing staff.
  • Experience in digital and linear advertising.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter with an aptitude for defining new processes; Must possess a passion to drive the business forward.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze operational metrics and turn them into insight and actionable items.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account managers for assigned holding companies, responsible for staffing and training the team, and ensuring productivity and team success.
  • Daily oversight of account manager PTO, work-from-home schedules, etc. Evaluate personnel and conduct performance & KPI reviews.
  • Assist the team in the prioritization, management and execution of the sales cycle and account workflow.
  • Manage campaign escalations and ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Work closely with and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams including Sales, Billing and Data.
  • Build strong relationships with MVPDs and other Ampersand partners.
  • Collaborate with sales to guide the team in strategically influencing agencies/clients to place orders and/or increase revenue.
  • Lead weekly calls with account managers to ensure we are meeting all key initiatives, developing plans to address sales needs, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with the team to make recommendations and support campaign optimizations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations on efficiencies through automation and/or workflow changes.
  • Interview and hire new team members as needed.
  • Provide leadership to team to promote continuous learning and teamwork; proactively identify opportunities for growth and skill development.
