Participants work with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, contribute to store development and strategy, and grow market share by selling to commercial customers, including painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers. The typical schedule is 44 hours per week and may include evenings and/or weekends. Participants receive structured development support, including formal reviews of objectives and development, leadership training, and opportunities to build professional relationships in the community. Job duties may involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuable items. The company states that a criminal-history review is necessary to protect its business, operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
