About The Position

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position Management Consulting Manager in Morristown, NJ. The role involves leveraging experience and expertise to work with clients and solve complex engineering product development problems, focusing on efficiency, cost, velocity, and innovation relevance. The position requires conducting industry and client research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and implementation of business operating models, encompassing vision and strategy, business processes, organizational and governance structures, supporting tools and templates, and performance metrics. The role also entails participating in change management activities, such as developing communications, training, and job aids to support capability implementation. Providing product development, engineering, and/or embedded systems development functional knowledge is essential. The Management Consulting Manager will manage teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture to deliver outcomes. Additionally, the role contributes to the growth of the Supply Chain & Operations practice by assisting with new business proposals and presentations, recruiting activities, and providing informal coaching and mentoring to less experienced consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • 5 years of experience in informing and driving key architectural and system design decisions that involve complex front-end, middleware, back-end, and systems integrations, in collaboration with client executive leadership.
  • 5 years of experience leading and monitoring offshore and onshore teams across the multiple phases of an ERP implementation, hypercare, application development and system enhancements.
  • 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira within Agile methodology for project delivery, including using Work Item Query Language to create, generate, or maintain sprint status reports.
  • 4 years of experience designing and developing architecture and custom functionality necessary to implement and maintain Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM) and Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (HxGN EAM) for utility company Supply Chain (Procurement and Warehouse) and Asset Management applications.
  • 4 years of experience participating in technical projects related to Supply Chain Management and Optimization, including identifying business requirements, developing benefits cases, preparing functional designs, and managing development.
  • 4 years of experience utilizing Landmark Pattern Language coding, Infor Process Designer workflow automation, and Infor Spreadsheet Designer data querying.
  • 4 years of experience analyzing, designing, and structuring complex Utility Supply Chain processes, including Inventory Control and Warehousing, Sourcing, Contract Management, and Requisitioning.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
