About The Position

The Management Analyst (Quality Assurance) serves in the Quality Assurance Department of SUPSHIP GULF COAST. The position designs plans and conducts workload measurement studies for QA Department work, primarily using the Technical Data Management (TSM) database system. It identifies and works to resolve complex substantive problems affecting QA operations and program requirements, leads information management studies and advises the QA Director on the results, and reviews QA workload data information reports to simplify, combine, and eliminate duplication.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check if a new employee to the Department of the Navy.
Current federal employees applying for GS jobs generally must meet the one-year time-in-grade requirement by the announcement closing date.
Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered for Selective Service.
Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance before entering duty.
At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band, conducting qualitative and quantitative studies to identify operational issues and recommend improvements for organizational effectiveness.
