About The Position

The Poultry Managed Services Intern will support Zoetis’ US Poultry Managed Services team in delivering customer care throughout hatchery processes. The internship provides exposure to the poultry business side of animal health and opportunities to develop project management and business management skills in a dynamic agricultural market. The preferred location is Durham, North Carolina; remote locations may be considered.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operational Management, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in the poultry industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management or Logistics Management experience preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a computerized maintenance management system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist managed services colleagues with creating and amending Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with inventory management.
• Analyze the current performance metrics system and provide process-improvement recommendations.
• Participate in field rides with managed services colleagues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, technical services, and Poultry lab colleagues, as needed to complete assigned projects.
