About The Position

The Poultry Managed Services Intern will gain experience with Zoetis’ US Poultry Managed Services team, helping deliver customer care throughout hatchery processes. The internship offers exposure to the poultry business side of animal health and opportunities to develop project management and business management skills in a dynamic agricultural market. Durham, North Carolina, is the preferred location; remote locations may be considered.

Requirements

• Be pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operational Management, or a similar field.
• Have a strong interest in the poultry industry.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Project management or logistics management experience is preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a computerized maintenance management system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist managed services colleagues with creating or amending Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with inventory management.
• Analyze the current performance metrics system and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in field rides with managed services colleagues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, technical services, and Poultry lab colleagues, as needed to complete assigned projects.
