Managed IT Services Consultant
About The Position
The Managed IT Services Consultant is responsible for providing comprehensive managed IT services for the Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System (LA-RICS) environment. This role serves as the primary IT support resource for approximately 30 users and is responsible for help desk support, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, device management, system monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, IT asset management, and strategic technology consulting. The Consultant will work closely with LA-RICS staff, the Authority's Contract Manager, and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) IT personnel to maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment while ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years supporting: Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Azure
- System networking
- Cloud platforms
- Strong experience with: Windows administration
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Cybersecurity operations
- Endpoint management
- Help Desk support
- SharePoint administration
- Experience supporting hybrid and cloud-based environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Must successfully pass a background investigation and security review prior to assignment
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of all Authority and organizational information
- Must adhere to cybersecurity best practices and all applicable security policies
