PRN Mammography Technologist
About The Position
Under general supervision and in consultation with the Radiologist, the Mammography Technologist performs routine and complex mammographic procedures. The technologist calculates and selects appropriate technical factors to ensure optimal equipment performance and positions patients accurately for specialized examinations. The role provides high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports early detection and compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and clinical excellence. Requirements
- Must have passed or be eligible for post-primary certification in Mammography; continued employment is provisional upon completing certification within one year.
- Must have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination and remain in good standing.
- Mammography experience required.
- BLS certification required, with annual renewal maintained.
