About The Position

At Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital, the Mammography Technologist performs accurate and efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The role works under a site-designated leader and follows established policies and procedures. Technologists are expected to demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation, while consistently following Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

This is a casual, part-time position with variable hours listed as 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and variable weekend work. The department lists 0.04 weekly scheduled hours.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 1–3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• ARRT Radiographer (R) credential required upon hire.
• ARRT Mammography (M) credential required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
