About The Position

Under the site-designated leader, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Mammography Technologist performs accurate and efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment. The role requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while following Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification from ARRT, required upon hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) certification from ARRT, required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, required upon hire.
