About The Position

Under a site designate leader and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Mammography Technologist performs accurate and efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The technologist demonstrates sound clinical skills and provides the best possible images for interpretation while following Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• ARRT Radiographer (R) certification required upon hire.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level.
