About The Position

The Make Ready Tech is responsible for efficiently performing necessary maintenance in vacant apartments to ensure they are ready for move-ins. The role involves general apartment maintenance and grounds care, including carpentry, appliance, electrical, painting, and plumbing work, as well as installing, repairing, and rekeying deadbolt locks. The technician is expected to complete service requests promptly and maintain company safety standards. The position requires flexibility to work an on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Punctual, dependable, and self-starting.
• Able to multitask.
• Team player.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, painting, and grounds care.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
• Able to move objects from one floor to another and frequently bend or stoop, climb stairs, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder height, walk, and twist.
• Normal range of vision, hearing, and speech.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, appliance, electrical, painting, and plumbing duties.
• Install, repair, and rekey deadbolt locks.
