About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking an on-site Make Ready Maintenance Technician to support a positive experience for residents by restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready status. The role involves completing apartment turns on time for move-in deadlines, performing repairs and replacements, and assisting with snow and ice removal as needed. Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; the company is willing to train.
HVAC certification or experience is preferred; the company is willing to train.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC.
HVAC certification or experience.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete the vacant apartment turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
