Make Ready Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Edward Rose & Sons is seeking an on-site Make Ready Maintenance Technician to support a positive experience for residents by restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready status. The role involves completing apartment turns in time to meet move-in deadlines, performing a range of maintenance and repair work, and handling related administrative tasks. The technician may also assist with snow and ice removal and perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor. The company offers on-the-job training and development, opportunities for advancement, and career-development tracks in technical, sales, and leadership areas. Compensation starts at $20.33 per hour or higher depending on experience.
Requirements
- Previous building maintenance experience working with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; training may be provided.
- HVAC certification or experience is preferred; training may be provided.
- Possess own tools.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and coworkers.
- Have basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
- Complete vacant apartment turns in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
- Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
- Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
