About The Position
Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and help support a positive experience for residents. The role focuses on restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready condition and completing apartment turns in time to meet move-in deadlines. The technician may also assist with snow and ice removal and complete related duties assigned by a supervisor. Requirements
- Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; the employer is willing to train.
- HVAC certification or experience is preferred; the employer is willing to train.
- Possess own tools.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
- Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Ensure vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status.
- Complete the full vacant-turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
- Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
- Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
