Wingate Apartments is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and support a positive resident experience. The role focuses on restoring vacant apartments to market-ready condition and completing turns on time for upcoming move-ins. Requirements
- Previous building maintenance experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC is preferred; training is available.
- HVAC certification or experience is preferred; training is available.
- Possess own tools.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
- Have basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous building maintenance experience across drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC.
- HVAC certification or experience.
Responsibilities
- Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
- Complete vacant apartment turns in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
- Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
- Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
