About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join its on-site operations team and support a positive experience for residents. The role focuses on restoring vacant apartment homes to market-ready condition and completing the vacant-turn process in time to meet move-in deadlines. Work includes repairs and replacements across apartment interiors and appliances, related administrative paperwork, and snow and ice removal as required. The position offers on-the-job training and development, opportunities for career advancement, and a starting compensation rate of $20.33 per hour or higher based on experience.

Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience involving drywall, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, or appliance repair is preferred.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Previous building maintenance experience involving drywall, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, or appliance repair.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete vacant apartment turns in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
