About The Position

Edward Rose & Sons is hiring a Make Ready Maintenance Technician for its on-site operations team. The role supports a positive resident experience by restoring vacant apartments to market-ready condition and completing apartment turns in time for move-in deadlines. The technician may also assist with snow and ice removal and complete other duties assigned by a supervisor. Requirements

Previous building maintenance experience working with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and appliance repair is preferred.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the team dress code policy.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co-workers.
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
Complete the full vacant apartment turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, and windows; perform carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
