About The Position

The Maintenance role performs preventive maintenance, equipment installation, boiler operation and maintenance, repairs and construction projects, and troubleshooting of production equipment and facility systems. The work includes mechanical and electrical production equipment, plumbing, carpentry, and refrigeration. The employee also plays an active role on the emergency response team and performs additional duties as assigned by a supervisor. This position involves a 12-hour night shift, and pay is based on experience and certifications.

Requirements

Electrical experience is required.
Be neat and clean.
Be punctual.
Have mechanical ability and good welding skills in all types of welding, or be willing to learn and develop them.
Have knowledge of electronics and industrial or construction electrical experience.
Be computer literate or have computer knowledge.
Be willing to work rotating shifts.
Present a positive attitude toward co-workers and the job.
Have knowledge of GMP, a good safety attitude, and willingness to perform assigned work.
Meet the stated physical demands, including lifting and carrying up to 85 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance.
Install new equipment.
Perform duties related to boiler operation and maintenance.
Perform repairs and construction projects as assigned.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, carpentry, and refrigeration issues.
Play an active role on the emergency response team.
Perform additional responsibilities as deemed necessary and assigned by the supervisor.
