About The Position

The Maintenance Worker, under the general supervision of the Golf Superintendent, maintains the golf course and associated facilities. The role includes landscaping, maintaining trees and planting areas, operating and maintaining irrigation systems and ornamental fountains, keeping grounds clean, and providing janitorial services for park restrooms. The worker also completes daily department paperwork, follows City policies and safety guidelines, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in maintenance or operating related equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, sod work, seeding, and watering greens, parks, and assigned facilities.
• Maintain trees and planting areas through planting, pruning, pest control, fertilizing, and weed and vegetation removal as needed.
• Operate and maintain assigned irrigation systems and ornamental fountains.
• Keep grounds clean by removing litter and disposing of trash from containers on a timely schedule.
• Clean and maintain park restrooms through janitorial services.
• Complete required daily department paperwork.
• Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
