About The Position

The Maintenance Worker maintains the golf course and associated facilities under the general supervision of the Golf Superintendent. The role includes landscaping and grounds care, maintaining irrigation systems and fountains, keeping grounds clean, and cleaning park restrooms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in maintenance or operating related equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, sod work, seeding, and watering for greens, parks, and assigned facilities.
• Maintain trees and planting areas through planting, pruning, pest control, fertilizing, and removal of weeds and vegetation as needed.
• Operate and maintain assigned irrigation systems and ornamental fountains.
• Keep grounds clean by removing litter and disposing of trash from containers on a timely schedule.
• Perform janitorial services to clean and maintain park restrooms.
• Complete required daily departmental paperwork.
• Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
