About The Position
VAL-CO, a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, is seeking a Maintenance Utility/Janitor Associate for its facility in Coldwater, Ohio. The role involves janitorial work, pickups and deliveries, grounds upkeep, snow removal, and assisting with general maintenance and building upkeep.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to complete forklift training upon hire; onsite training is provided.
- Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Must be able to use appropriate tools required for the job, including lawn equipment and hand tools.
- Must be self-motivated and work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Clean bathrooms and offices to maintain high standards.
- Follow the established janitorial schedule.
- Remove trash and cardboard.
- Perform pickups and delivery runs.
- Maintain lawns and landscaping.
- Assist with snow removal.
- Assist maintenance with general requests.
- Perform general building maintenance and upkeep.
