Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent - required
  • Read, write, speak English - required
  • Valid state issued driver's license – required

Nice To Haves

  • Three years’ experience in the Carpentry trade – preferred
  • Journeyman level finish carpentry skills - preferred
  • Basic MIG welding skills – preferred
  • Basic Computer Skills- preferred
  • Intermediate skier or snowboarder - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Journeyman level knowledge of most aspects of the carpentry field.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on doors, windows and other facility equipment.
  • Must be able to take projects from concept to completion with excellent results.
  • Display consistency and accuracy in completion of daily work orders.
  • Assist Sign Shop in production tasks
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage a seasonally high workload.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to assist other trades such as workload permits, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.
  • Ensure that all power tools and equipment are maintained in a safe operating condition.
  • Work with Mountain Services Coordinators to facilitate purchasing necessary materials to perform tasks.
  • Ensure that proper stock of materials is maintained.
