About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, a property with 143 guest rooms and suites, more than 2,400 square feet of meeting space, and two outlets. The role performs a variety of maintenance trade functions, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and building systems, HVAC work, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the hotel’s preventive maintenance program. The technician works closely with other team members to support hotel operations and provide an exceptional guest experience. The position includes general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; repairs to appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems; repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, and carpeting; and general mechanical maintenance of pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other equipment. The technician maintains required records and task logs and submits reports requested by supervisors in a timely manner. Compensation is $17.00–$20.00; actual compensation may vary based on candidate-specific factors and location.

Requirements

Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related items.
Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Install, maintain, or repair equipment and perform HVAC, painting, wall repair, and tile work.
Maintain the hotel’s preventive maintenance program.
Keep records and logs of completed tasks in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Prepare requested reports and submit reports and logs to supervisors in a timely manner.
Work with team members to help create an exceptional guest experience.
