Maintenance Engineering
About The Position
The Maintenance Engineering is responsible for completing preventative maintenance tasks throughout the hotel. This role involves performing preventive maintenance in guestrooms, corridors, meeting space, restrooms, public space, and the building exterior. Additionally, it includes routine maintenance on HVAC equipment (cleaning coils, replacing drive belts and air filters), kitchen equipment (refrigerators, ovens, fryers, ice machines), and commercial laundry equipment. The position also requires responding to guest calls and work orders, along with other assigned duties.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Schooling in a trade school is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance in guestrooms, following task checklists.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment, including guestrooms, corridors, meeting space, restrooms, public space, and building exterior.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, such as cleaning coils and replacing drive belts and air filters.
- Perform routine maintenance on kitchen equipment, refrigerators, ovens, fryers, and ice machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.
- Respond to guest calls and work orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
