About The Position
Ace Precision is seeking an Industrial Machine Repair & Preventative Maintenance Technician to keep complex equipment and facilities operating effectively in support of advanced manufacturing. The role involves maintaining and repairing shop equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and following safety procedures. The position is located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and is listed as full-time on first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Voluntary overtime is available.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
- Skill in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic math skills.
- Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to solve problems and guide repair procedures.
- Disassemble, repair, and replace parts, then reassemble equipment; perform basic fabrication and assembly.
- Maintain facility systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs.
- Support equipment relocation and installation, and requisition parts or supplies.
- Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
