About The Position

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Monroe team on a night shift with a rotational schedule. Training hours may vary. The technician oversees and troubleshoots operational, utility, and maintenance-related issues within the facility. The starting wage is $29.50 per hour, increasing to $33.00 after six months of hire, with further growth opportunities; night shift includes a $1 shift differential.

Nice To Haves

Two to three years of previous maintenance experience or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on buildings and equipment.
Monitor equipment pressures and flow rates.
Monitor boiler performance, water quality, and air quality.
Maintain preventive maintenance logs.
Perform general facility maintenance, including sanitary and structural welding.
Troubleshoot production equipment.
Keep management informed of potential issues.
Maintain sanitation log records and ensure they are completed on time.
Be certified to drive a forklift.
Follow all LOTO, PRCS, and other safety procedures.
Work with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects.
