About The Position

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Monroe team on the night shift. The technician oversees and troubleshoots operational, utility, and maintenance-related issues throughout the facility. The position includes preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of buildings and equipment, along with monitoring equipment and utility performance and maintaining required logs. The schedule is 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on a rotational basis; training hours may vary.

The starting wage is $29.50 per hour, increasing to $33.00 per hour after six months of employment, with the opportunity for continued wage growth. Night-shift employees receive a $1 shift differential. Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to learn and show initiative.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of previous maintenance experience, or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Monitor equipment pressures and flow rates.
• Monitor boiler performance and water and air quality.
• Maintain preventive maintenance logs.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including sanitary and structural welding.
• Troubleshoot production equipment.
• Keep management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain sanitation log records and ensure they are completed on time.
• Obtain and maintain certification to drive a forklift.
• Follow all LOTO, PRCS, and other safety procedures.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects.
