About The Position

The Maintenance Technician supports Conagra Brands' Louisville, Kentucky manufacturing facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The role is onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and works closely with operations and maintenance teammates to minimize downtime and support production goals. It reports to the Maintenance Team Leader. The position follows a 4x4 schedule: four consecutive 12-hour shifts followed by four consecutive days off. The stated shift is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Based on business needs, an additional shift may be required. The position is eligible for overtime and double-time pay in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, and includes a $0.75 shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Working knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
Support equipment changeovers, startups, and shutdowns as needed to meet production schedules.
Follow food safety, quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to the Maintenance Team Leader and operations partners.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
