About The Position

At Wasatch Property Management, Maintenance Technicians provide technical support for apartment communities and contribute to resident satisfaction. The role involves routine maintenance and repairs to apartment units and common areas, troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other systems, and responding to resident service requests in less than three hours. Technicians are expected to represent the Wasatch brand, take an owner’s mindset, and provide personable, detail-oriented customer service. The position requires hands-on general maintenance skills, the ability to use hand and power tools, and flexibility to work independently or as part of a team. The schedule may include weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies. Pay is $15.00–$21.00 per hour depending on experience, with quarterly bonus potential.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience is preferred.
Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
Experience repairing or maintaining most of the following: electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, and pools.
Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Superior customer service skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong communication, organization, accountability, and task focus.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience (preferred).
