About The Position

Join Amcor as a Maintenance Technician where you will effectively troubleshoot, resolve and maintain equipment. This role involves proactively troubleshooting, repairing, and correcting mechanical, electrical, and process problems to ensure the capability of production equipment. You will also assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical breakdowns of AC/DC drives and inverters, including programming and start-up configuration. The position requires operating meters, power supplies, service monitors, and test fixtures, maintaining a working knowledge of all plant operating systems, and regularly inspecting production lines and support equipment for necessary repairs and upgrades during preventative maintenance cycles. Additionally, this role provides 24/7 technical support for production following an on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • Solid electrical and mechanical skills
  • Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 technical support for production following the on-call schedule
