About The Position
Sayre Christian Village is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for its faith-based, nonprofit senior living community. The role maintains the grounds, facilities, equipment, and assigned building systems in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The technician is responsible for the general appearance of the facilities and grounds, equipment repairs and maintenance, and completing assigned maintenance service requests. The position calls for someone who is compassionate toward older adults, attentive to detail, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Compassion, patience, and commitment to serving seniors.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in the field.
- Demonstrated ability to complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds, facilities, and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain the general appearance of the facilities and grounds.
- Repair and maintain equipment as needed.
- Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
- Monitor and maintain assigned building systems.
