About The Position
Provide event medical coverage to help ensure the safety and well-being of event participants. EMTs are present as a precaution and provide immediate first aid when needed. Assignments take place in a variety of event settings, and EMTs can pick up shifts that fit their schedules. The hourly rate is $24.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses.
- Be prepared to administer basic life support, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Evaluate patients to determine whether their condition requires escalation to emergency care.
- Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
- Work at events in a variety of settings.
