About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. This role involves performing general maintenance of all equipment, assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements, and ensuring thorough work and follow-through on repairs. The technician will communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions. This role requires diagnosing failed components and safely working on voltages up to 480V, using a digital voltmeter (DVM), and coordinating equipment updates and operational issues with off-shift personnel. Attending outside training and seminars for continual education is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
  • Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience
  • Interpret electrical schematics
  • Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals

Nice To Haves

  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performing general maintenance of all equipment.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
  • Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.
  • Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.
  • Diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
  • Properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
  • Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.
  • Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.
