This position involves repairing and maintaining all production equipment, diagnosing mechanical machine malfunctions, implementing repairs and adjustments, making emergency repairs to limit downtime, performing preventative maintenance checks and lubrication, and assisting in building equipment parts and experimental machines. The role also includes coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.

Requirements

A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred.
1+ years’ mechanical maintenance experience.
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain all production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Implement repairs and adjustments on machines.
Make emergency repairs to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
Make periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate all production machinery.
Assist in building equipment parts and experimental machines to work order specifications.
Assist in coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.
