Requirements

  • Documented experience as a mechanical or electrical maintenance technician.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Solid understanding of equipment safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn more and keep growing.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience working with printing or packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Keep production operations running uninterrupted by thoroughly inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functioning.
  • Get hands-on with the equipment, solving mechanical and electrical problems to support daily productivity.
  • Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with occasional overtime or Saturday work to meet operational needs.
  • Properly inspect, repair, and maintain production equipment.
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedules, repair faulty equipment, and replace broken parts.
  • Quickly and safely respond to equipment breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
  • Remove old equipment, install new parts, and set up new systems.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, spare parts, and repairs.
  • Train staff on proper equipment operation and offer technical support as needed.
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and performance standards.
