About The Position

Nutek Disposables Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their location in McElhattan, PA. This is a 12-hour position working 6:45 pm-7:00 am. The role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of Industrial Experience or equivalent required.
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge.
  • Standard knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Standard knowledge of product specifications, quality specifications, goals, efficiency, scrap, and production.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to use all measuring tools, micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.
  • Ability to run the equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational school training relating to mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
  • Repairs all mechanical components of all equipment as required.
  • Troubleshoots and analyzes mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues.
  • Operates all machines so that repairs can be tested when complete.
  • Conducts or assists with changeovers and setups as directed.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and reports findings to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Recommends modification of preventative maintenance requirements and changes to periodicity as needed.
  • Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training.
  • Attends all training seminars provided by the company when applicable.
  • Completes all paperwork correctly and submits in a timely fashion.
  • Operates equipment as required.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
