Our Rhinelander, WI location, a Union Facility, is part of our Taste and Smoke division nestled in the beautiful Northwoods. We are responsible for the production of many base products in smoke flavoring needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of five Smoke Flavoring Facilities within the Kerry organization! Requirements

  • Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position preferred.
  • Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Piping systems, Process equipment, Personal Computing.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, and good housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment.
  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, pumps, mechanical seals and other related equipment.
  • Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.
